How many flowers do you want?

Almost every design comes in plumeria, hibiscus, tiare or a mix — so the flower is rarely the hard part. What changes the look, and the price, is how much of the head it covers. Use the filter below to narrow by style, by flower, or by both.

Single tiare flower hair clip
One flower

Single flower

One bloom on a clip. Worn every day, sells all year, and the easiest price for a gift shop.

Cluster hair clip with several plumeria flowers and leaves
2–5 flowers

Cluster

A few blooms and leaves around one main flower. Our biggest group, and what most halau order for the line.

Statement hair clip with flowers running along the side of the head
Half crown

Statement

Flowers running the length of the head, almost a half crown. For soloists, competition and weddings.

Handmade hibiscus hair clip mounted on an alligator clip
Alligator clip as standard — other fittings on request
The fitting

It has to stay put through the whole number

A flower that falls out mid-dance is worse than no flower. Almost every design ships on an alligator clip: enough grip for fine hair, soft enough not to pull. French clips, combs and pins are available on request; tell us what your dancers use and we will fit it.

The flowers are foam, so nothing wilts, bruises or fades. A clip bought for one season comes out again the next.

Handmade Hawaiian flower lei
Worn together

A clip in the hair, a lei at the neck

Most clip orders include lei too — plumeria, pikake, pua kenikeni and kukunaokala, strung by hand in the same workshop.

About this collection

Flowers assembled onto a clip, by hand

A hair clip is the same flower we make for the rest of the range, mounted and ready to wear. Someone at the bench chooses the blooms, sets the angle, adds the leaves and fixes the whole arrangement to the clip — which is why two clips of the same design are close but never identical, and why a good one sits the way it is supposed to when a dancer moves.

The collection is organised by how much of the head it covers rather than by flower. A single flower is one bloom on a clip, worn every day. A cluster gathers several blooms and leaves around one main flower — our largest group, worn for dance and for occasions alike. A statement piece runs the length of the head, close to a half crown, for soloists, competition and weddings. Nearly every design is available in plumeria, hibiscus, tiare, orchid or gardenia, and many combine more than one.

Almost everything ships on an alligator clip, enough grip for fine hair without pulling; French clips, combs and pins are available on request. The flowers are foam, so nothing wilts, bruises or fades, and a clip bought for one season comes back out for the next. Everything is made to order for wholesale: minimum 20 pieces per design, 20 pieces per colour, shipped worldwide from our family workshop in Bangkok, where we have made flowers since 1980. Checkout takes no payment — add the designs you want and we email a full quote including shipping within 1 business day.

Quick answers

Hair clip questions, answered

What is the difference between a flower head and a hair clip?

A flower head is the bloom on its own — you mount it however you like. A hair clip is the same flower already assembled onto a clip and ready to wear. Shops that assemble their own pieces buy flower heads; shops and dancers who want them finished buy clips.

Which type of clip do they come on?

Alligator clip as standard — enough grip for fine hair without pulling. French clips, combs and pins are available on request; tell us what your dancers use and we will fit it.

How do I choose between single, cluster and statement?

Single for everyday wear and gift-shop price points. Cluster when you want more than one bloom — a dance line, a wedding party, a birthday, or simply a fuller look. Statement when the piece should run the length of the head, for soloists, competition and weddings.

What is the minimum order?

20 pieces per design and 20 pieces per colour. Mix as many designs and colours as you like within one order.

Will the flowers wilt or fade?

No. They are foam, so they survive heat, humidity, handling and years of re-use without wilting, bruising or fading.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes — we ship from Bangkok to customers worldwide, including the USA, Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
